Jireh ministries is also committed to improve the food and nutrition security of vulnerable populations in rural areas. This year, there was a devastating cyclone which hit Odisha causing ma y destructions.

 

Our staff members along with local volunteers started to distribute relief to the needy people who had lost their houses and were marooned due to waterlogging and flood which happened in the aftermath of the cyclone. Local people gave us adequate cooperation in this regard.

 

Groceries and food packets were distributed to the needy families who were affected by the cyclone. The relief project was undertaken in many districts of Odisha. A total of 100 families benefitted from this project.
